Privacy Policy

When you submit a quote request or contact form on our website, we collect the information you provide: your name, phone number, service address, postal code and the pest you need help with, plus an email address and message if you choose to add them. With a quote request, we also store the page you first landed on, the website that referred you, any ad or campaign tags in that link (such as a Google Ads click ID) and the time of that first visit, so we can see which pages and ads bring in customers.

We may also collect standard technical information that your browser automatically sends when you visit our site, such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This information is used only to maintain and improve our website.

We use the information you provide to respond to your service inquiry, schedule appointments, and communicate with you about pest control services, and to see which pages and ads bring in customers. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

We may use your contact information to follow up on an open service request or to send a single follow-up if we have not heard back from you. You can opt out of any follow-up communication at any time by contacting us directly.

Quote request submissions are stored securely in our customer database and emailed to our team, and are accessed only by Sting Out staff. Form data is used for scheduling and service delivery, and to see which pages and ads bring in customers.

We retain contact records for a reasonable period to support ongoing service relationships and follow-up visits. If you would like your information removed from our records, contact us and we will action your request promptly.

Our website is hosted by Vercel, which also gives us page-view and performance statistics (Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights). These statistics do not use cookies and do not identify you.

Quote requests are stored with Supabase (our customer database) and delivered to our team by email through Resend.

We use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure whether our ads lead to calls and quote requests. Google may also use this information to show our ads to people who have visited our website. You can control or turn off personalized Google ads at adssettings.google.com.

We use Google Analytics to see how visitors use our website, such as which pages are viewed, how people found us, and whether a visit leads to a call or quote request. Google Analytics does not give us your name or contact details. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and process data only as needed to provide their services.

Google Ads sets cookies (such as _gcl_au) to measure ad conversions and, unless you have opted out, to show our ads to people who have visited our site. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga) to count visits and tell new visitors from returning ones. We do not use cookies to sell your information.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and turn off personalized Google ads at adssettings.google.com.

As a Canadian company, we comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request corrections, and request deletion of your data.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information below and we will respond within 30 days.
